junkman parts + normal upgrades?

if you install junkman parts before you install the rest of the performance upgrades do you lose the stats from the junkman parts when you install the normal upgrade?

ex: upgrade1 + junkman + upgrade 2

yeah you lose the junkman parts so i just wait til the i get the ultimate parts, then install the junkmans after
