hard to evade police

Heya,

Is it just me or does the police eventually become very hard to evade? I've tried a lot of things to get a 9-minute pursuit and a 200.000 dollar cost to state pursuit done, but every friggin' time they nail me.

First I tried staying on the highways, but that just isn't effective. They will nail me when the road splits into single lanes and they put up one of those giant SUV's to block me, along with a spike strip. This means I have to ram the SUV to not get caught with the strip, but it stops my car immediately and the police from behind will get me stuck.

When driving through town I noticed it is easier to lose more cars (on the highways I sometimes get like 30 cars on me), but when they decide to throw some of those rolling roadblocks at me it is pretty hard to evade them in those narrow streets.

Does anyone maybe have some bright hints on how to be more effective in pursuits? How to NOT get caught?

I have the same experience. It's nearly impossible to beat the police from certain level. It's easy to evade for hours, but no chance to actually evade them.

Keep an eye on the mini map for roadblocks. When you see one you'll need to outwit the cars chasing. Use your speed to fool them - slow up and they will attempt a rolling block.
When you see the first car go by - slam the anchors and spin around. After a few hundred yards the roadblock magically disappears!

Alright, stay on the highways.
Go northbound on the highway next to the police station, that's the best way.
Now, when you're about to hit the turn which takes you across the bridge next to the country club, go straight, you go through the fence and catch some air. Keep going straight and take the turn at what seems like too early because you'll feel like you'll oversteer and hit the fence, but because of the grass you'll turn slowly. As for the roadblocks, note your map. If you're in the higher levels of pursuit and there's one car in a roadblock on a narrow road, that means that it's next to a spike strip. The front of the car always faces the spike strip, always remember that. The car is usually facing to the right, as well.
For Rhino roadblocks, identify the weakest point. If the weakest point is right behind a roadblock, go to the very edges of the road and hit your nitrous, if you use manual, downshift as soon as you regain normal view. This is made easier by driving your car and memorizing at what speed your car shifts at.

Also, I believe the best pursuit car is the Murcielago maxed out. It handles great and it can outrun the police on level 5.

when theres a roadblock, hit the end of the car never the front and get a good acceleration car and drive on mini roads to find pursuit breakers,trust me i took down 10 police SUVs with the gas station thingy

omg!!! the answer to ur problem is to use speed breaker!!!! and when u drive on highway, go to the one at the top of the map and go from one side to another when on open highway so cops get onfused and put roadblock on the wrong side!!!! i got 2 million bounty and completed all milestones all in one pursuit so i could race razor

Its very simple to shake cops. Usually, Heat 3 brings SUV rams and double car roadblocks. Heat 4 goes for rolling road blocks. To break lose, make sure a car is on the side of yours. Then use speed breaker and hit the e-brake and turn (sharp). If done correctly you should hit the cop's wheels and that car will pile up with the cars on the other side of you.Then hit the noz and dip

Also, if you start at Camden Penitentiary, go through your loops and at the entrance, to the left corner there is a small ledge that you can stay and watch the cop fall. and if there on your bumper, try backing up or driving off the ledge. (most of the time they fall). If you want to have fun use the levels as a "arena" pushing cops of the ledge (BUT CAUTION LIKE THE BUS STATION YOU CAN BE BOXED IN) And when you do you can drop to the next level and cooldown
