If you are running low on cash and need to mod up your car to beat a competitor's car, then just go to the completed races you have done and choose one you can do easily, but will also be rewarding. Also, if you are try to stay away from the cops, also make sure you choose one that has a minimum chance of them catching you. Do the race you are most comfortable with- considering these three factors and do it as my times as you need. It doesn't matter wha type of race it is-- whether it's a sprint, circuit race, or drag. It doesn't matter; just as long as you can do it.

So if you do this I can assure you that you will get into the millions fairly easily. You just have to sacrifice a day's sleep doing it but it is worth it when you go into your garage, choose any car yo have unlocked - buy it and still have bucket loads left to mod it up so it goes like a rocket.
