I know I'm very late with the answer to this but the piece of software you are looking for can be found @ NFS planet. I personally suggest using SaveEditor v1.27 or NFS C Control Panel v1.03 to change the registry CD-Key.
I don't know if any of you is still interested in trying out the suggested method but if you do, I hope this helps.
And let me just say that If you manage to create a working LAN server you will make my life and the life of the people over at the World Cyber Games alot easier since we won't have to work around the Account + CD-key lockdown. |

I don't know who motherfucker has made the NFS Carbon game, who haven't added the LAN play option.
In all earlier games, I find the LAN conection for play.
Can't EA sports people check all this before launching the game, that which options should be there or not.
People are trying unnecessary things for playing on LAN, and don't succeed. |

Hmm... looks like the idea with LAN has died? 
Well, maybe the next NFS will have LAN.
Let's hope the best.
It's very sad that EA has spoilt this and it's very sad that this hasn't
been able for all of us to get a workaround...

Hello people
i've a question.
i've a NFS Carbon but i have a problem.
A problem accurred when trying to transfer the file 'C:\Documents and Settings\HP_Eigenaar\Bureaublad\NFS Carbon\server.cfg'
Do you want to retry to copy the file, or cancel the installation?
Can you people tell me what i can do to instal it???
