Loading save game causes NFS to crash. (And graphics)

I have played for a bit (beaten the first boss), but due to some weird graphics errors (red glow on cars and blue/green glow on faces) i decided to save and make sure my graphics drivers were properly updated (they were so no clue why it looked like that).

Now to the main problem/s:

1: When i start NFS i can't skip the intro, if i hit any key the screen will go black and the game freezes.

2: When I reach the menu i can't use enter to select if i do the screen goes black and the game freezes.

3: When the saved game has loaded and I get prompted to "Continue" the game instantly closes once i click "Continue".


Anyone have any solutions for any of this, or even just a cause?

well because the 1) and 2) i think my advice would be useless... but the 3) happened to me after playing like 80% of career. i had to create a new game and load it, then load mine original.

do you use a computer or console because if its computer you might have a virus but console you have a scratch

I use a computer. I also reinstalled everything, from my windows XP to the game it self. The problem remains.
I do not have a virus. That is, my virusscanner does not report it.
The next thing I want to do is to replace my video card. Now i have a nVidia 6600 GEFORCE. This card works because I can play the game. But you never know.
Also the answer I got from the Support guys was that I had to install the DXSDK. I did it, but it does not fix my problem.
I believe there is something wrong with the program (game) itself. It just needs to read a saved game. How hard can it be ???? It can not read what it write. According to me this is one of the easiest thing to do.
And also reported to support that it still does not work, but I don't think I will ever hear from them again. And i can't still play a saved game.
