How to win pink slips? (Opponnent car)

Hey i heard the following rumor.

After beating the boss, you get a chance to get some unique features.
The hidden features are always the same. To win pink slips you have to choose:

For Dodge - #2
For Mazda RX-7 - #3
For Aston Martin - #4

Sorry to dissapoint you guys:

After beating the first boss I randomly chose cards no 2 and 4 and I didn't get the DB9. Afterwards I came here and saw that I chose exactly the cards I had to choose... Am I the only unlucky player or are those cards really random?

well... from what i heard it's prolly a fake tip... but: it always helps to BACKUP your save before the boss and then TRY AGAIN (choosing different - maybe =)))

The RX7 was under card no:1 for me, so it smells fake..

Were the pink slips are is random, it can be under any number for any of the cars (it is just luck that matters).

I have got the cars under the following numbers:

Dodge Charger: 1,3,4
Mazda RX7: 2,3,4
Aston Martin: 1,2,4

here's something much funnier:

i wanted to play the game a second time, well, i DID play it a second time to see the differences between a tuner career and a muscle career.
well. if you choose to get unique parts upgrades like spoilers etc. you just cant use them in career mode O.o.
okay, i did this at all three boss races and got some nice "get out of jail free" cards, and one pink slip to the charger, what i actually cant drive.
this sucks a bit because i've never got caught by the cops, never driven the charger, and just never could use those cards for spoilers and (heh...who needs that stuff?!) roof scoops.

am i just blind or dumb or what? i dont get it...where can i use them?

in "my cars" then quick race with those cars... after you'll finish the career u will probably start racing in quick race.
